The product goes into a heat-sensitive poly bag or is wrapped in heat-sensitive film, and the package is sealed. A conveyor carries it through a heat tunnel, where the film or bag shrinks to fit the product.
The result is a protective, tamper-evident covering, well suited to technology, electronics, games and paper products.
About the film
Shrink wrap is made from PVC, polyolefin or polyethylene. Thickness is measured in gauge, and a higher number means thicker film.
